Terry G. Keefer

Terry Gordon Keefer, 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan.

He was born on July 23, 1942, to Victor and Elaine Keefer in Ionia, Michigan. He graduated from a small country school in Ionia and then continued his education at Concordia Seminary, Springfield, IL.

Terry was the former Pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Colon, Michigan and at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Union City, Michigan, retiring in 1996.Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Battle Creek and was also an Elder with the church. Terry will be remembered for sharing the word of God.  Terry will be missed for his genuine caring for and wanting to help people. He enjoyed his cats, reading especially the Bible and walking. Terry also enjoyed delivering the Battle Creek Shopper.

Terry is survived by his loving daughter: Kristina Keefer of Battle Creek, Michigan, and his brother: Phillip (Janice) Keefer of Lyons, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Terry will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church 114 E. Minges Rd. Battle Creek, Michigan 49015 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Jack Langfeldt officiating.

Burial will take place at Keefer-Olmstead Cemetery in Lyons, Michigan.
