Phyllis Berneice (Pennington) Ripley

Phyllis Berneice Ripley, 83, of Olivet, passed away on February 13, 2023 at her home in Olivet, Michigan.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia on July 7, 1939, to William and Thelma (Lockard) Pennington. Phyllis worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Manufacturing for many years, and owned and operated Green West Adult Foster Care in Marshall. She formerly attended the Nazarene Church of Albion. She was united in marriage with Elden Ripley. Elden preceded her in death on December 14, 2019.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Tim Means; step son, James Ripley; sister, Elizabeth Ferrell; two Brothers, Frederick Pennington, and Dwight Pennington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Andrew Means; son, Jason Means; her husband, Elden Ripley; and her parents, William E. and Thelma Pennington.

A private graveside service will be held at Clarence Center Cemetery, Phyllis will be interred along side her late husband Elden. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Pace Center of Albion.
