Kaycee “Kaser” Lynn (Vincent) Gaw, 42, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, July 13, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 5, 1982, to Bill and Lisa Vincent at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Kaycee was a Marshall High School and Miller College graduate earning a degree in Business Management. Kaycee met the love of her life, Brad Gaw while both employed at E.P.I. in 2010, and two years later, on June 29, 2012, they married. They just took the week of their 12th anniversary and celebrated each day doing different things as they traveled through the towns of Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee.
Kaycee had a strong work ethic and took pride in her job at Stryker which she loved along with her coworkers. She was always thinking of others, as her gifts were always chosen from the heart. In recent years, she looked forward to her walks with Uncle Herbie and her mom. Kaycee enjoyed spending time with family, she especially enjoyed helping her dad with any and all projects. Kaycee also loved spending time with her nieces, Morgan and Lexi and nephew, Paxton.
She absolutely loved her sports, from watching Detroit Tigers and U of M football games to No Prep Teams live events, going to K Wings hockey games, and NASCAR. In addition, Kaycee and Brad enjoyed travel. They especially liked visiting NASCAR tracks, some of their trips included tracks in Texas, North Carolina, Michigan and Vegas. Vegas was a favorite destination, they took many vacations there, experiencing a new casino each time and Kaycee could often be found at the Barrett Jackson Auctions. During one of their vacations to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, she actually conquered her fear of heights, through ziplining!
Kaycee has always been a cat person. She loved the Big Cats, especially White Tigers. And she was a faithful “cat mom” to her fur babies, Mazie, Norman and Minnie.
Kaycee is survived by her husband, Brad; her parents, Bill and Lisa Vincent; brother, Tanner Vincent; maternal grandmother, Ellen Stewart; aunts, Karla (Randall) Ramon and Wanda (Scott) Vanderberg; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral Homes, 2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015 with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 pm, Rev. Erin Fitzgerald officiating.
