Kay Ellen Scantlen, of Marshall, Michigan was reunited with her beloved husband, John Scantlen; her parents, Jean and Bruce Myers; and her sister, Susan Myers on the 13th day of August 2022. Kay’s dear friend Marilyn kept tender watch over her in her final days and she left this world gracefully with family at her side holding each of her hands as her favorite song was playing.

Kay had the heart of a child her whole life with a special place in it for animals=especially cats. She provided a home for countless feline friends over the years, and they were her children. Her smile, laughter and beautiful heart made this world a bit brighter…a treasure that will be deeply missed.
