Karla Sue (Carleton) Price

Karla Sue Price slipped away quietly from the Earth March 17, 2022 to be with her Father Kenneth Carleton. Karla was born on January 11, 1971, in Marshall, Michigan, to Kenneth and Delores Carleton. She graduated from Olivet High School in 1989.

She leaves behind her Mother, Delores Carleton; Brothers, Ken "Randy" (Dawn) Carleton; Kevin (Heidi) Carleton; Sister Karen (Trevor Greenman) Lewellan; Daughter Baylee (Jeryn Martin) Brodock; Nieces and Nephews, Christy Carelton, Erin Carelton, Haylee Lewellen, Nicholas Brubaker, Blake Carleton, and Husband Faaron Price.

She worked at the Life Improvement Center for a long time until she took a job at Oaklawn Hospital, where she worked for almost 22 years. Karla loved most everything about the outdoors from hunting morel mushrooms in the spring, to playing softball, gardening, landscaping, and even mowing the grass. She could light up a room just by walking into it with her beautiful smile and infectious laughter. Anyone who knew Karla could tell exactly where she was in any building just by hearing her laughter. Karla rarely met a stranger and could strike up a conversation at a moments notice, with nearly anyone. A quality Karla possessed, was recalling names of people she knew including their spouses and children. If Karla ran into someone that she had not seen in years, she would strike up a conversation like no time at all had passed between them. She was an avid Spartan supporter who loved her "Green". Karla also loved her animals, dogs, cats, you name it. She loved her animals dearly.

Karla will be greatly missed by not only her family, countless friends, Those she played softball with, and coworkers. A private family graveside service was held in Karla's memory.

The Price family will welcome guests for a Gathering of Remembrance that will be held at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US HWY 27 N., Marshall, MI 49068, on Saturday, April 16th, from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
