Judith “Judy” Elaine Clouser, 75, of Tekonsha, passed away on November 6, 2024, at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan.
Born on January 2, 1949, to Lewis and Flavia (Wilkins) Colvin in Detroit, Michigan, she was raised there. Judy graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia, Michigan. It was school where she met Leslie Clouser, who she would later marry on March 1, 1969. Judy and Les lived together in Plymouth and Canton, Michigan, relocating to Jackson, Michigan to raise their family, then settling in Tekonsha, Michigan after retirement.
Judy enjoyed staying busy, painting ceramics, crocheting animals for her great-grandchildren, and researching family ancestry. While her children were growing up, Judy volunteered at school as a teacher’s aide, and helped as Den Mom with Cub Scouts and Webelos, later helping Les with Boy Scouts. Most recently, Judy was volunteering with Meals on Wheels.
Faith was important to Judy; she had previously been a member of First Baptist Church of Tekonsha where she helped as a nursery schoolteacher. Judy will be remembered as being lighthearted and quite a jokester, as well as an incredibly giving and loving person.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Les; children Laurie Tittl of Macomb, Michigan and John (Hillary) Clouser of Tekonsha, Michigan; grandchildren, Amber (Michael) Paull, Charles "CJ” Tittl, Johnathon Clouser, and Jessica Clouser; great-granddaughters Keira Paull, Charlotte "Charlie" Paull, and Aurora Paull; sister, Gwendolyn Schrock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Ruth Ann Justice.
As per Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Marshall, Michigan.
Memorials in Judy’s honor are suggested to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
