Judith Ann (Clark) Hunsicker

Judith Ann Hunsicker, 80, of Ceresco, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 19, 2023.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 20th, 1942 to Henry W. and Sylva (Rendle) Clark.  She graduated from Bedford High School in Bedford, Michigan, attended Hillsdale College and graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education and Library Science.

She met her husband, James D. Hunsicker while they were both attending Bedford High School.  They married on August 25th, 1962. They settled in Ceresco, Michigan.

Judy worked for several years as a substitute teacher and librarian at Harper Creek School District.  She also worked for a time at Marshall Public library when her children were older.  Judy enjoyed sewing, crafts, horticulture through her many house plants as well as gardening, canning, camping, traveling, and making brownies for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James; her children, Dr. Jennifer (Dr. James) Zablotny of Fenton, Jill (Michael) Schrotenboer of Grand Rapids, and James (Jennafer) Hunsicker of Ceresco; grandchildren, Amber (Mike), Connor (Molly), Brendan, Lauren, Maddison, Rhiley, and Brooklynne; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Calvin, and Evelyn; and a sister, Jacquelyn McMahon of Lambertville, Michigan.

Judy was proceeded in death by her parents, Henry W. and Sylva Clark, and parent in laws, Alvin and Doris Hunsicker.

Private services will be held at a later date.
