James “Ed” Edward Jones, 59, of Bellevue, passed away on October 9, 2024, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan.
He was born on July 18, 1965, to the late James Jones and Cheryl (nee Seltenright, formerly Jones) Burge in Battle Creek, Michigan. Ed grew up in Bellevue and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Johnnie Burge. He attended Bellevue High School.
On August 29, 2009, Ed married Stacy Hayes at Charlton Park in Hastings, Michigan.

Ed was a semi-pro fisherman, traveling all over Michigan as well as Kentucky, and competing in the Southwest Division and Central Division.
Ed also loved to thrift and sell his finds on eBay. He had an eye for hidden treasure that he would bring home and fix up then sell. Ed was known to be a goofy guy who loved to crack jokes with anyone.
