Courtney Collins (Burns) Bennett

Courtney Collins Burns Bennett, 40, of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

She was born on October 13, 1981 to Michael and Tammy (Tunning) Burns Marshall, Michigan. Courtney graduated from Marshall High School in 1999 and then graduated from Kellogg Community College earning her Associate's Degree in 2005. She met and then married Josh Bennett on August 11, 2007 in Marshall, Michigan.

Courtney worked as a Server for Bell's Brewery in Kalamazoo for many years.

Courtney had a very outgoing personality with the gift of making people laugh and feel great about themselves. She will be dearly missed by all because of her selfless and generous spirit. Courtney enjoyed crocheting, crafting and reading. Her absolute greatest joy was her daughter and son.

Courtney is survived by her loving husband; Josh of Kalamazoo, Michigan, her children; Harper Collins Bennett and Silas Gibson Bennett; her parents; Michael (Tammy) Burns of Marshall, Michigan, her siblings; Shane  Burns of Detroit, Michigan and Cassidy (Chris Kortman)Burns of Marshall, Michigan, her nephews; Jace Kortman of Marshall, Michigan and Brody Kortman of Marshall, Michigan, Arlo Bennett of Traverse City, Michigan and Owen Bennett of Traverse City, Michigan, her father and mother-in-law; Gary (Karla) Bennett of Marshall, Michigan, her brother-in-law; Matt (Leah) Bennett of Traverse City, Michigan. She is also survived by Bill Bennett of Marshall, Michigan and Karl (Linda) Kendall of Marshall, Michigan.

A Celebration of Courtney's Life will be announced at a later date.
