Russel "David" Wilson, 63, of Marshall died Monday August 5th peacefully but unexpectedly, at his home. David was born on May 20th 1956 at Oaklawn Hospital to Russel and Mary (Embury) Wilson. He was baptized in the United Methodist Church. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1974 and would later go to earn a bachelor's degree and a millwright. David also served in the United States Marine Corps.
David worked as a machinist for many years. He was also a member of Local #355 Laborers Union and the National Rifle Association. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and hunting for morel mushrooms with his father. Something he also enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Timothy Wilson (Elizabeth) and Amanda Wilson (Sorin); Five grandchildren, Alexander "AJ", Azalyn, Madilyn, Audrey and Arabella; Sister Vicki Wilson-Russell; two nieces; one great niece and three great nephews. He was proceded in death by his parents and life companion for Kathy Shepherd over 30 years.
