Marilyn E. Mead, 84, of Marshall died January 6, 2018 at Oaklawn Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Paul of Marshall; children, Paula (Peter) Briedes of Jacksonville , North Carolina and Wayne (Denise) Mead of Clarkston; four grandchildren, Michael Briedes, Timothy Briedes, Sarah Mead, and Samuel Mead; and one great-granddaughter Katelena Briedes. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael Charles Mead in 1974.
Family will welcome friends on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Service Marshall Chapel 723 US 27 North from 2-4pm with a service taking place at 4pm. Memorial contributions are requested to Ceresco Baptist Church or to the American Alzheimer's Association. Assistance with memorials is available at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Service.
