Madeline M. Evans, age 87, of Battle Creek, MI passed away peacefully Sunday, January 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Battle Creek, MI on January 3, 1932 the daughter of Arthur & Mildred (Sheppherd) Eifler. Madeline married the love of her life Joseph Evans on August 27, 1950 in Battle Creek, MI and were together until his passing. She enjoyed fishing, golfing and cleaning.
Madeline is survived by her son, Gerald "Jerry" (Lynne) Evans of Battle Creek, MI; grandson, Ed (Melissa) Greene of Delton; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Greene and Victoria Greene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; daughter, Janice Greene; and her parents.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Andrus Church of God, 765 Andrus Street, Battle Creek, MI 49015.
