Kay C. Stillson

Kay C. Stillson, age 79, of Marshall, MI passed away peacefully Saturday, August 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 11, 1939 in Kouts, IN the daughter of Alvin and Edna (Kneifel) Klemm. Kay graduated from Kouts High School in 1957. She pursued several careers including Health Care and Restaurant management. On November 26, 1968, she married the love of her life Ron Stillson. He remained the love of her life until passing in 2008. Kay enjoyed baking with her grandchildren and loved to spoil them with ice cream and cookies. The cookie bowl was always full at Nana's house. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens caring for the many flowers that had belonged to her Mother and Grandmother. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her friends at Maple Grove Bible Church.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Paul) Williams of Climax, Roni (Doug) Blanchard of Marshall; sons, Pat (Lynn) Stillson of Marshall, Bob Somerville of Michigan City, IN; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; special friend Rolland Face. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; daughters, Katherine & Jennifer; and sister, Nancy Fox
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Kempf Funeral & Cremation Service, Marshall from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Maple Grove Bible Church.
