Jamie Marie Evans, age 33, of Tekonsha passed away unexpectedly June 18, 2019 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.
Jamie was born on February 20, 1986 in Pekin, IN to Herman and Mary Kern.
She graduated from Pekin High School with the class of 2004 and went on to earn her CNA certificate.
Jamie married David Evans on August 19, 2014. They had 2 children and shared almost 5 married years together.
Jamie worked as a certified nursing assistant at Quincy Cottage Assisted Living facility for several years until an illness prevented her from continuing.
Jamie enjoyed cooking, and crafting. She will be missed by many.
Jamie is survived by her husband, David Evans of Tekonsha; and children, Brianna Evans of Hillsdale, and Destiny Evans of Burlington. She was preceded by her parents, Herman and Mary Kern.
Cremation has been conducted and a memorial service will take place at a later time.
The family is being served by the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 303 S. Hillsdale St., Homer Chapel.
