Jacqueline L. Lynn, age 88, of Battle Creek died April 6, 2018 at Oak Haven Assisted Living Facility in Marshall.

Jacqueline was born on November 3, 1929 in Battle Creek to Raymond and Gladys (Haskins) Merriam. She married James Lynn and together they raised 4 children. James preceded Jacqueline in death in 2003.

Jacqueline worked in the home as a housewife raising their children. She loved going to antique shows and collecting antique postcards. She and James loved camping all over Michigan, especially at Black Lake.

Jacqueline enjoyed planting flowers in the summertime. She liked feeding the birds everyday and would watch them with her cat on her lap. In the past, Jacqueline was a Blue Bird Leader for her daughter, Tracy's troop. She also enjoyed gambling at Soaring Eagle Casino with her daughter, and brother-in-law, Ralph.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Sherri (Robert) Corbin of AZ, Tracy (Matt) Lynn of Kalamazoo, James (Rebecca) Lynn of Battle Creek, and Lori (Dan) Lynn of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Mark Easterbrook, Collier Lynn-Hillman, and Reeve Lynn-Hillman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gladys Merriam; sister's, Onalee Willis and Bonnie McCormack; and brother, Richard Merriam.

Cremation has been conducted and a private burial will take place at Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall at a later date.

The family is being served by the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 SW Capital Ave., Battle Creek Chapel.
