Iona Mae Judd

Iona M. Judd, age 92, of Battle Creek, MI passed away peacefully Saturday, July 21, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 13, 1925 in Lima, OH the daughter of Alphonse and Leona (Sendelbach) Honingford. Iona graduated from Shawnee High School in Lima, OH. She married Forrest Judd in 1947 and remained married for 41 years, until his passing in 1988. Iona was a lifetime member of St. Phil Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, watching TV, crosswords, attending Catholic services, animals and nature. She especially loved Christmas and being with family during the holidays.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda (Robert) White of Tampa, FL, Richard Judd of Brandon, FL, Susan (Dennis) Dingman of Battle Creek, MI, Carolyn Hall of Kingman, AZ; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Forrest Judd; brothers, Howard A. Honingford, Kenneth H. Honingford, and Harold A. Honingford.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Hospice or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
