Carol Tresider Nokes, age 60, of Marshall passed away August 27, 2018 at her residence.
Carol was born on October 21, 1957 in Green Bay, WI to George and Betty (Robinson) Tresider.
She graduated from North Dickinson High School with the class of 1976 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Northern Michigan University. Carol married Michael Nokes in Harris Township, MI on December 24, 1989. They raised two children and shared 35 loving years together.
Carol was the owner/operator of her own tax company; Tax Express Plus. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. Carol like crafting and beading. She loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Carol is survived by her husband, Michael Nokes of Marshall; son, Scott (Connie) Murray of Helps, MI; daughter, Maddi Nokes of Winter Park, FL; grandchildren, Eli Murray and Charliese Murray of Helps, MI; step-grandchildren, Brody and Franchesca Priestap of Helps, MI; very special friend, Cindy Peters of Lansing; half-sister, Kari Jaeger of Merrill, WI; step-sister, Jane Jaeger of Merrill, WI; and half-brother, John Tresider of Franksville, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Betty Tresider.
Visitation will take place at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 Old US 27 North, Marshall chapel on Friday August 31, 2018 from 6-8pm. Cremation will follow visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
