Beverly Jean Easton, age 89 of Albion, MI passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018.
She was born in Homer, MI on April 7, 1929 the daughter of Fred and Bernice (Measel) Easton.
Beverly graduated from Homer High School in 1947. She worked at Crowell Elementary School in Albion for many years as a teacher's aide in the Kindergarten room, and was a personal chauffeur for Floyd Starr of Starr Commonwealth. She retired from Albion College Dining Service after 20 years at the age of 80.
Beverly enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities, shopping with friends, decorating her home for every holiday season, and was also known for planting many flowers in the Spring.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Jackie (Don) Masternak of Albion, Jill Warson (Paul Nelson) of Brighton, MI, and Julie (Scott) Theisen of Lambertville, MI; 6 grandchildren, Audra (Nate) Fuentes, Kristin (Reid) Ribble, Steven (Christine) Babbitt, Erik Babbitt, Ryan (Emma) Litchard, and Skyla Babbitt; step grandchildren, Nick Nelson and Natalie (Chad) Blakeley; great grandchildren, Easton, Charlotte, Drew, Luke, Max, Emma, Olivia and a baby boy due in March; sister, Marlene Semon; sister in law, Madeline Easton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, sisters and brothers in law, Dorothy (Leo) Purucker, Maxine (Bud) Taber, David Semon and brother Denzil Easton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 5 pm - 8 pm at the Kempf Funeral and Family and Cremation Services, 303 South Hillsdale, Homer Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home in Homer with Pastor Tim Marvil officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Homer, MI.
