Audrey Joan "Bunny" Kader, age 80, of Battle Creek passed away June 2, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Battle Creek.
Bunny was born on April 17, 1938 in Battle Creek to Lloyd and Opal (Green) Baggerly. She graduated from Bellevue High School with the class of 1956. Bunny married Alvin Kader in 1989, he preceded her in death in 2003.
Bunny worked for the Kellogg Company as a line worker for 28 years, retiring her career in 1994.
She loved gardening, and bird watching. Bunny was an avid golfer, and enjoyed bowling.
Bunny is survived by her children, Mark (Diane) Thompson of Battle Creek, and Vicki Thompson of Cincinnati, OH; 2 grandchildren, Travis Thompson of Battle Creek, and Whitney Thompson of Paw Paw; and 5 great-grandchildren, Natalee Thompson, Brecken Thompson, Onyx Thompson, Bryer Kotecki, and Bentley Kotecki. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Opal Beggerly; husband, Alvin Kader; 2 brothers, Jack and Jerry Baggerly; and sister, Doris Brott.
Visitation will be held at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 SW Capital Ave., Battle Creek Chapel on Thursday June 7, 2018 from 11am-1pm with family present to greet friends at that time. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1pm with Chaplain Vanessa Persenaire officiating. Audrey will be laid to rest in Floral Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
