Neil Lewis

Neil Michael Lewis, age 38, of Battle Creek, died at home on January 4, 2013. Neil was born August 1, 1974 in Battle Creek to Keith and Deborah (Lick) Lewis. Neil enjoyed working with his hands. He was gifted at drawing, building many types of things as well as fixing them and making them work better in his workshop, and cooking! Neil also enjoyed gaining knowledge and was currently working on earning his Associate degree in Business Administration at Davenport College of Battle Creek. Surviving are his mother, Deborah Trescott of Marshall; his father, Keith Lewis of Battle Creek; 5 sisters, Lyndsey Bartell of Coldwater, Brea Arredondo of Marshall, Faith Trescott and Annissa Lewis of Marshall; a brother, Rufner Trescott of Marshall; several nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Janelle Young of Battle Creek. Preceding him in death are his sister, Dayna Lewis; his maternal grandmother, Fanchon Wheaton of Battle Creek; and his paternal grandfather, Gordon Wilkey of Battle Creek. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Lyon Lake Cemetery. Pastor Jim Codde will be officiating.
