Marianne Cole

Marianne Cole, 79, of Marshall died on Friday, October 5, 2012, at the Marshall Nursing and Rehabilitation CommunityMrs. Cole was born on March 11, 1933, in McGuffey, Ohio, to Samuel and Anna (Anderson) Adams. She graduated from McGuffey High School. On December 17, 1954, she married Roy E. Cole in Lee Township. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1988.Mrs. Cole worked as a nurse's aide for Tendercare for a short time, and when her children were born she was a stay at home mother raising her family. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Cole enjoyed gardening, going for walks and spending time with her children and neighborhood children.She is survived by her sons James Cole of Charlotte, Roy Cole of Olivet, and a granddaughter Jessica Cole of Arizona. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Adams of Leslie, Rick Adams of Charlotte, Jack Adams of Lansing, John Adams of Belding, and Bob Adams of De Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters Barb, Mickey, and Donna and a brother Tom.A graveside service took place at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Rice Creek Cemetery with Reverend Winfred Collins officiating.
