Lorromae Hoyt, 92, of Fredonia Township, died on August17, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hoyt was born on September 12, 1919, on her familyfarm in Fredonia Township to Nicholas and Lorro May (Lee)Schnitzler. On June 19, 1948, she married John E. Hoyt Jr. inFredonia Township. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1995.Mrs. Hoyt worked as a packer and forelady for the KelloggCompany for 44 years, retiring in 1982. While employed byKellogg, Lorromae also worked on the family farm, in herflowerbeds, and enjoyed canning the harvest from her garden. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Doug) Ralston ofSaint Clair Shores, sons Charlie Hoyt of Marshall and Jim (Denise)Hoyt of Marshall, grandchildren Dr. Erica (Terence Heldreth)Milkovich of Bloomington, Indiana, Theresa Hoyt of Phoenix,Arizona, and great-grandchildren Grace Lily and Elizabeth LorroHeldreth. In addition, she leaves many nieces and nephews. Shewas preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters UrsulaSchnitzler, Catherine Berniece Schnitzler Emmerick Hess, andbrothers Edward, Lee, and Leon Schnitzler. Visitation will take place at the Craig K. Kempf FuneralHome on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 11am - 1pm with funeralservices celebrating her life at 1pm with Rev. Dr. Doug Ralstonofficiating.
