Joe was born on February 14, 1979 in Trenton, Michigan. He was the son of Mrs. Lea Majors Consley.
He was a full time student at Sienna Heights where he was one year into completing his Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
Joe enjoyed reading and watching movies in his spare time and had an interest in film. In previous years Joe was involved with several local bands where he sang and played bass. His biggest pride and joy was spending time with his two little girls, Olivia and Maya. The family had just recently taken a trip to Orlando, Florida to visit family and Olivia played and spent time with her dad at Disney World!
He is survived by his wife, Angie Scalf of Marshall, daughters, Olivia Nadine and Maya Miriam of Marshall; mother, Lea Consley of Rockwood, Tennessee; sister, Jessica (Cameron) McCormick of Parma; Grandpa, Joseph E. Scalf of Orlando, Florida; aunts, Valerie (Mike) Brown of Albion, Kim (Ray) DeCarlo of Arizona, Barbara Buchanan of Orlando, Florida, and Eve Majors of Tennessee; uncle, Roy Majors Jr. of Rockwood, Tennessee; mother and father in-law, John F. and Ann Miller of Marshall; and sister in-law, Molly Miller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Scalf, his grandmas, Nadine McLeod and Princie Abshire Scalf, his grandpa, Roy Majors, and an aunt, Phyllis Scalf.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 723 US 27 North, Marshall. A funeral service to celebrate the gift of his life will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
