James Duncan

James Duncan, 75, of Homer died February 22, 2015 peacefully at home.James was born on December 10, 1939 in Middletown, Ohio to Eldon and Louise Duncan. He graduated from Homer High School and then went on to serve four years in the Army. James married Barbara Jean (Murray) Duncan who preceded him in death in October 2013. After serving in the Army, James began working for Albion Industries where he held many different positions over the span of 35 years. His most recent position was driving a forklift. James retired in the early 2000's.James grew up on a farm where he continued to farm throughout his life. He really enjoyed watching NASCAR races and was a diehard Jeff Gordon fan.James is survived by his daughter, Vicki Wright of Homer; 2 sons, Kippling (Teresa) Duncan of Florida, and James Edward (Tammy) Duncan Jr. of Union City; 14 Grandchildren; numerous Great Grandchildren; sister, Norma Baker; and brother, Bill (Marilyn) Duncan of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Duncan; and brother, Eugene (Marge) Dew Duncan.The family will have a private memorial at a later date. Arrangements are by Craig K.
