Frederick Cutcher

Frederick J. Cutcher age 66 of Homer passed away suddenly on Sunday July 17, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 18, 1949 a son of Ransom and Rachel (Tank) Cutcher in Albion. Fred graduated from Homer High School with the Class of 1967. On October 29, 1994 he married Becky Baggerly in Homer. Fred was a Licensed Land Surveyor and was the owner and operator of Fred Cutcher Surveying since 1977; he started his career with DeKeyser in Battle Creek. He enjoyed hunting, yard work, and spending time with his family.Surviving Fred are his mother, Rachel Cutcher of Homer, wife, Becky Cutcher of Homer, daughters, Shelly (Matt) Swope of Saginaw, Lisa (Jim) Jackinchuk of Eaton Rapids, step daughters, Jocelyn (Chad) Danbury of Sherwood, Darcy (Dan) Stubbs of San Diego, CA, grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sophia, step grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Skylar, Zachery, sister Barbara (Clyde) Pratt of Marshall and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ransom Cutcher.Relatives and friends will be received from 2-4PM on Thursday July 21, 2016 at the Kempf Family Funeral Homes Homer Chapel 303 S. Hillsdale St. Homer, MI 49245. A memorial service celebrating the life of Fred will take place at 4:00 PM on Thursday July 21, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor James Codde officiating.
