Frank E. San Gregory, Jr., age 68, of Homer, MI passed away peacefully Friday, October 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at home.

He was born January 16, 1949 in Tiffin, OH, the son of Frank E. and Mary J. (Hayes) San Gregory, Sr. Frank graduated high school in Tiffin, OH and went on to attend Tiffin University. He enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict from 1968 to 1970. While he was on leave he married Bonnie Fisher on December 27, 1969. Frank was employed with Hayes-Albion Corporation in Tiffin, Ohio. He took a transfer to Homer, MI in 1986. Frank was employed with Hayes-Albion Corporation for 32 years, retiring in 2002 when the plant closed.

He enjoyed bowling at Meadow Lanes in Homer for several years. Frank loved to coach his son’s baseball team. He also umpired baseball and softball for 10 years. Frank was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He also followed the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Frank enjoyed 4-wheeling with the guys Up North on Drummond Island and Black Lake, MI near Manistee, MI. He also enjoyed traveling throughout Michigan going to casinos. He was a member of the Disable American Veterans.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Bonnie, of 47 years; children, Sue (Andrew) Edler, Frank San Gregory III, Nick (Melinda) San Gregory all of Homer; grandchildren, John Edler, James Edler, Michael San Gregory; brother, Tom San Gregory; sisters-in-law, Marlene San Gregory and Donna San Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James & John San Gregory; and sister-in-law, Linda San Gregory.
