Faye Breezee

Faye Goodman Breezee, 68, of Quincy passed away May 11, 2015 at Marshall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Faye was born on October 21, 1946 in Allen, KY to Andrew and Anna (Wright) Goodman. She has been with her significant other, Roger Talant since June of 2001. They spent close to 14 loving years together.Faye was a homemaker and devoted member of the Quincy American Legion Women's Auxillary. She was an entertainer who loved to play the guitar and sing blue grass or old country songs. Faye enjoyed cooking and singing Karaoke, but one of her biggest passions was decorating her home. Faye was an excellent mother. Her life was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Faye was born to be a mother. She is survived by her significant other, Roger Talant of Quincy; son, Crispin Bocanegra of Bellevue; daughters, Tina Money of Battle Creek, Amanda Bocanegra of Marengo, Amy Bocanegra of Battle Creek, and Tasha Bocanegra of Marshall; Grandchildren, Adam Bocanegra, Kari Bocanegra, Kelsi Bocanegra, Tara (Chad) Ribbey, Donald Wallace, Derek Wallace, Samara Bocanegra, Tristin Bowers, Deontay Yore, Alaysia Yore, Kayela Yore, and Charlie Sanland; Great-grandchildren, Bosston, Myla, Ava, Jade, and Ameilia; brother Clifford Goodman of Marshall; and sisters, Billie Fox of Marshall, Alta Masters of Hillsdale, Sarah Murphy of Homer, Rosie Goodman of Homer, and Annette Schroll of Albion. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Shephard, Betty Jean March, and Mary Helen Smith; son-in-law, Robert Bowers, and best friend and beloved niece, Marsha Kay. Visitation will take place at the Craig Kempf Funeral Home, 723 US 27 North, Marshall Chapel on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 12:30-2:30pm. A Graveside service will take place at Oakridge Cemetery on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 3pm. Immediately following the service will be a celebration of life dinner at the VFW hall located at 800 E. Michigan avenue in Marshall. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Legion Women's Auxillary. Assistance with memorial contributions is available at the Craig Kempf Funeral Home.
