Elnora Burrows

Elnora Burrows, age 87, of Marshall, died at her home on Monday, September 21, 2009. Elnora was born on September 14, 1922 in Battle Creek to James A. and Louise E. (Felty) Bass. She grew up in Battle Creek, attending Southeastern Jr. High School and Battle Creek Central High School. On March 12, 1940 she married Robert B. Burrows in Bryan, Ohio. The couple lived in Battle Creek until 1942 when they moved to Marshall. Elnora worked in Housekeeping at Oaklawn Hospital for many years until retiring from there in 1978. She also cleaned homes for several Marshall families and worked at Howard's Motel. . After her retirement she opened "Bob's Bait Shop
