Martha F Goheen

Martha F. Goheen, 81, of Lynn Haven, Florida, formerly of Marshall, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Covenant Care in Panama City, Florida following a short illness.

Mrs. Goheen was born on August 7, 1936 in Sulligent, Alabama to Robert E. And Lela M. (Edgeworth) Peeler. She graduated from high school in 1956. On June 3, 1956 she married George K. Goheen in Greenwood Springs, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2014.

Although she worked for her dear friend, Gloria Arnold, at the Dug Out and in her catering business, Mrs. Goheen was primarily a homemaker who stayed home to raise her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (David) Walker of Florida; sons, Timothy (Elaine) Goheen of Ohio and Kevin (Paula) Goheen of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jacob (Melissa) Gates of Marshall, Alexander (Kathryn) Lawrence of Florida, Israel (Chris) Fischel, Rachel (Kyle) Rook, Anna Goheen and Evelyn Goheen all of North Carolina, Elizabeth Walker of Tennessee, and Dean (Elizabeth) Walker of Florida; great-grand children, Jonas Gates and Clara Gates of Marshall, Gracie Walker , Jillian Davis and Madison Rector of Florida, Olin Fischel and Logan Rook of North Carolina, and Sammy McCusker of Tennessee.

Family will greet friends on Monday March26, 2018 from 4-7pm at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US 27 North Marshall. Funeral services celebrating her life will take place at 12noon on Tuesday March 27, 2018 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery Tekonsha. Family will gather with friends following the committal service at the Kempf Funeral Home Reception Hall.
