Bradford E. Kellogg

Bradford "Brad" Kellogg, age 61, of Marshall, MI passed away peacefully Friday, June 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Marshall, MI on March 16, 1957 the son of Gary and Mary June (Peck) Kellogg. Brad graduated from Marshall High School. In drafting class, Brad met the love of his life, Carol DeLaney. They were married on April 20, 1979 at Zion Lutheran Church. He was employed with RSB Transmissions as a shipping and receiving clerk. Brad was a hard worker; he would leave work only to work more. He helped his son Tyler every chance he could with his upholstery business; and he loved bonding with his son. Brad spent a lot of time at their cottage Up North in Waters, MI. They enjoyed many trips to the Keeweenaw Peninsula where he and Carol picked rocks on Lake Superior's beach and searched for waterfalls. They also loved lighthouse hunting and would find different restaurants to experience along their travels. Brad and Carol volunteered for 2 years at the Felt Mansion in Saugatuck, MI. Brad was in his glory putting his chain saw to work on the neglected property. They also volunteered on Middle Islands, to cut walking paths through the woods. They spent many vacation weeks on Sanibel Island, FL riding bikes, walking the beach and shell hunting. He liked plowing snow and always made sure he plowed the neighbor's driveways. Brad also enjoyed snorkeling, cutting wood, walks, mowing the lawn, and bowling.

Brad is survived by his loving wife Carol, of 39 years; son, Tyler (Justina Guthrie) Kellogg; grandson, Greyson Kellogg; mother, Mary June Kellogg; siblings, Vicki Kellogg, Roy (Patty) Kellogg all of Marshall; father-in-law, Kenneth "Jack" DeLaney; mother-in-law, Dot DeLaney several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law, Chuck DeLaney; and sister-in-law, Delores Hardy.

Family will receive friends at Kempf Funeral and Cremation Service, Marshall on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. A memorial service will be held at the East Eckford Church, 9995 22 Mile Road, Marshall, MI on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 5:00pm with Pastor Ralph McCarty officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to East Eckford Church or Charlotte Pentecostal Church, 610 Jefferson St. Charlotte, MI 48813.
